| Last time I reached out was to announce my foray into Artist Management and Curation. Some great things are happening in that arena, but I also want to let you know about the experiential side of the new Agent Red. I've teamed up with some key partners to create, Clever Maven, an interactive event design and experiential marketing project located in Austin, and beyond.
Our first event was the launch of the DMTRMX Project at SXSW 2012, and it was EPIC. We were the first to create an event at the beautiful new St. Elmo Soundstage in Austin and featured music from Birds of Paradise, SORNE, Skytree , Nadis Warriors, Eva Strangelove Burlesque , Something Fiction, Michael Garfield, sound healing by Tina Rodriguez, and a slew of amazing performance and video installation. If you missed it, don't worry. DMTRMX and Clever Maven are just getting started....

Spectral Alchemy, Agent Red and Dubspot present the first DMTRMX workshop in NYC this Saturday.  Also on April 7th, Agent Red will be creating a performance and interactive stage at Euphoria Music Festival in Austin Texas. The RED stage will include a variety of programming, including flow arts, aerial, pole, video performance, vaudeville, and even a Hypnotism show! Austin Bike zoo and live painters will be contributing to the interactive and visual atmosphere. And SORNE, Exploded Drawing, The Last Domino, and Happy Happy James will be throwing down some unique music with visual and interactive Acompaniment. Plus, there is four other stages built by the people who bring you Art Outside. Euphoria features tons of other music by Welder, Govinda, LA Riots, White Panda, Darth and Vader, Archnemesis, Rabbit in the Moon DJ set, and more, with Agent Red artists HOBOTECH collaborating with an extended performance experience and WAVE FARMERS also on the bill

Launched by visionary director Mitch Schultz of DMT: The Spirit Molecule, DMT RMX is an open source, creative commons community, joining artists around the globe using a symbol based language codex. Agent Red here! Hope your winter has been supernaturally amazing so far and you are ready for the holidays! Art Outside this year was epic. Endless thanks to everyone who participated and supported - you are the fire... There's been some really cool projects that I've had a chance to be involved with and wanted to share with you! I am now managing and collaborating with various musicians and performers, including renowned producer and Ableton guru, HOBOTECH. Check his websitehere. He just had banging new EP out on Dec 13th. Featuring collaborative tracks from all sorts of ridiculously talented artists, including Haj from Sub Swara and Art Outside's beloved Pumpkin. ALBUM AVAILABLE DEC 13TH

Who are the Hobo Kings?
Hobotech is the creation of Jon Margulies. His aesthetic is the sound of boxcar funk, deisel dub and badass bluegrass crunk. Hobotech has played festivals across the country, including Coachella alongside Haj, SxSW and Burning Man. Jon is one of the world's leading experts on Ableton Live, having authored multiple books and presented workshops around the US, including regular gigs at Dubspot and NYU.
Haj is a founding member of Sub Swara, who, as an event, were pioneering in bringing Bass Music to NYC. He's also been involved with numerous lauded, cutting edge projects, including Nyxyss with Hannah thiem of Copal and Freek Factory with vocalist, Blacklight. The A-side of this release is a homesick traveler's bittersweet tale, featuring Blacklight on vocals and Hannah Thiem on violin. Introspective melodies are coupled with subtle glitches to create a grinding tune that is tense, soothing and sexy. The release features a deep and bass heavy remix by Sub Swara; a smooth Downtempo House/Midtemp Funk version by Pumpkin (of Pocket Underground and The Wandering Marionettes); and a third remix by Zander (aka Traveler) with glitchy bass filtering and sugary sweet melodies. The B side is a funkified cover of an old Leadbelly tune, Linin Track. Again, featuring Blacklight on vocals, this time with an alto laid down over bass driven beat to inspire a hands-in-the-air call-to-arms on the dancefloor.
